The Language of My Art – An Introduction
Welcome to the central part of my website, where I want to place my artworks at the forefront. It’s not just about images, but about stories, emotions, and the world behind the motifs. Each blog post you find here is a journey through the symbols and mysticism of my photographs and digital artworks. It is about more than just depicting landscapes or architecture – it is about capturing the soul of a place, its hidden layers, and the secret messages it holds.
My works are born out of a deep connection to nature and the ancient symbols that have shaped our cultures over tens of thousands of years. The landscapes I photograph are more than just geography – they are stages for stories that our ancestors told, and that we can still sometimes feel ourselves. And when I capture architecture, I don’t see it as rigid structures, but as symbols of human creativity, craftsmanship, and resilience. With a touch of mysticism and deliberate distortions, these elements come together to create works that transcend the everyday.
The art you see here is shaped by a quest for the invisible – the traces of souls that accompany us through time. My photographs and distortions aim to make these invisible traces visible, guiding the viewer into a world where the mystical and the real blend together. An ancient olive tree becomes a guardian of time, a stone circle a gateway between worlds, and an abandoned structure tells stories of days gone by that still echo in the present.
Each blog post is designed to let you experience a piece of art in its entirety: First, you see the image itself, followed by a lyrical text that seeks to capture the mood of the work and convey the emotions it can evoke. Finally, I provide an explanatory text, detailing what inspired me to create the piece, which techniques I used, and the thoughts I had during its creation.
In this combination of image, poetry, and prose, a unique narrative unfolds. It is my way of telling the stories I find in the landscapes, in the architecture, and in nature – stories that have their origin somewhere between reality and fantasy.
Let yourself be invited to join this journey with me. Don’t just look at the surface of the works, but dive into the depth, into the stories they tell, and into the worlds that lie behind the visible.
